Sierra Lima lefthand pipe
Sierra Lima (aka "The Lefty") pays tribute to all the left-handers of this world, too often forgotten, thanks to its carburetor brilliantly placed on the left side.
With a stoneware clay body, green-black glaze in the bowl and a carburetor on the left side, Sierra Lima elevates the smoking ritual through art and quality.
A hollow interior provides a large chamber for smoke, and the exterior is hand-finished for a smooth feel in the palm. The bowl is hand-glazed for a non-porous, easy-to-clean surface.
This pipe has been baked in gas oven at an extremely high temperature with a particular technique that makes the pipe very robust and creates a range of ever changing finishes that makes each piece truly unique.
For this reason, a variation in color, hue, texture and size is to be expected. The images shown are representative, but may not indicate all the variations of these characteristics.
MATERIALS: Stoneware clay
Boiling- You can boil your ceramic pipe in water, just as one might a glass pipe. Place the pipe in the pot with the cool water, raising the temperature of the water and the pipe simultaneously to avoid shock. Make sure to ventilate as the boiling will extract a smoky smell. Boil for 10-15 minutes and rinse well with lukewarm water.
A scrub sponge with non-toxic, biodegradable soap works well for the outside as well as the bowl.
