With a stoneware clay body and a celadon glaze in the bowl, Sierra Papa Charlie is a ceramic pipe that elevates the smoking ritual through art and quality.

A hollow interior provides a large chamber for smoke, and the exterior is hand-finished for a smooth feel in the palm. The bowl of the pipe is hand-glazed for a non-porous, easy-to-clean surface.

Miwak's pipes are fired in reduction, in a gas kiln at an extremely high fire temperature. The heat renders their pipes especially sturdy, and the reduction process creates an ever-changing array of finishes which make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

This pipe has been baked in gas oven at an extremely high temperature with a particular technique that makes the pipe very robust and creates a range of ever changing finishes that makes each piece truly unique.

Each pipe is unique. Its shape and finish are dictated by the way the materials interact with the crafting process. No two are the same and the color will ultimately depend on the composition of the clay, the temperature of smoking, the type of wood dust and the mystery that comes from the process.
